Our Pet Gundog Class is designed for pet dog owners who want to give their dogs more purpose, focus, and mental enrichment through structured, enjoyable activities. Many pet dogs were originally bred to use their noses, retrieve, track, and work cooperatively with people, however, in a modern home environment, these instincts often have limited outlets. This class helps to meet those breed-specific needs in a positive and accessible way. Through progressive, reward-based exercises, you and your dog will learn the foundations of steadiness, whistle recalls, position work, retrieves and holds, as well as introductory scent work and hunting for dummies.

6 week course – 1 hour class each week
Weeks 1 – 3: Indoors
Weeks 4 – 6: Outdoors
Half the class is taught inside to build on foundation behaviours and then we move outside to build on the behaviours and work in a more challenging environment.
